Personality: Absynthe is most of the time treated like the lazy girl she doesn’t deny being; she simply loves sleeping in late and sitting around not having to do any work. However her lazy side tends to overshadow the side of her that is actually hard working and tries her hardest to get the job done on time; however the later is only on an incredibly rare occasion as many of her fellow shinobi know that she isn’t one for time limits and due dates, unless the mission’s importance demands her to be on time. She also tends to perform a hand seal, for ‘ram’, when meditating, as such it is her most used seal as it ends most of her jutsu that require seals.

Appearance: Absynthe’s skin is generally quite dark for being such an inside girl and seems to consistently have a slight tan, all except a star mark on her cheek, the result of which was from one of her first missions when she got scratched by a shuriken, it wasn’t deep but it left a permanent scar that is consistently much paler and stands out from the rest of her face. Her hair is always cut shorter than her shoulders, with her fringe being the longest of her hair as it made a sort of upside down tick on her head as it covers her right eye. The dark green of her hair stands out clearly against the sapphire blue eyes. She was given her name simply due to the colour of her hair, courtesy of her alcoholic father.
Absynthe usually adorns a tattered black cloak that covers practically all of her body and casts her face in shadows when the hood is drawn up, however it’s only when on recon missions that she actually wears it completely hiding herself, the majority of the time outside of such missions it is cast open so her body is open to the air. Beneath the cloak she wears what was once a tight body suit that was visibly cut to expose her stomach, on both arms so the sleeves were cut short, and again at the legs so they only appeared as shorts. Bridging the gap between her top and shorts was a fishnet undershirt, of which the sleeves went to her elbows. Though she prefers being barefoot as she has more flexible and accurate movements and balance, she is often told to put something on her feet so she had gotten into the habit of wearing simply sandals.

Biography:
Pre Academy:
Absynthe grew up on the island, Land of the Moon, with only her father who was almost always drunk. She had no idea as to what happened to her mother until she was 8 when she found a grave stone with the name Miyama Tesaya. After finding the grave and her mother’s name, she studied in the libraries on any records of her mother, soon finding that she was once both a shinobi and a mystic, said to have been able to predict the future of people. She found her mother’s old possessions such as her cloak, which she still to this day wears, the head band of her mothers and finally a small wooden box, inside were stored the tarot cards her mother used. Upon finding the belongings, she left the island, her father dying a day later from a fatal illness from his alcoholism.
Academy:
It was only by chance that it was Iwa no Shi that Absynthe wound up in, she merely got onto main land and hitched a ride with a salesman to the nearest village. It wasn’t until after she enrolled that her abilities were really questioned, she showed promise with chakra control, but she simply couldn’t perform even the basic skills and stamina needed. She was given a final examination to display a simple technique, but she was fleeing the village that night. Once again hitching a ride with a merchant, he recognised the wooden box as well as the insignia, spending hours telling the 13 year old Absynthe about what he remembered from seeing Miyama’s predictions and that she used chakra to control the cards. It gave Absynthe an idea as she already knew her chakra element, as both her mother and father had the same element of Lightning. She jumped off the merchants cart and went running back to the village. The next day she showed up exhausted but confident, she performed only a simple technique still, but using her own name; “Arcana – Star”, a simply manipulation of her chakra and giving it a physical form, it was only a tiny spark that she could throw, but as it was observed that she had spent only a single night on such a technique, they allowed her to remain in the academy, amongst her class mates sometimes being referred to by her mother’s name.

Description: Absynthe fills a regular playing card with her lightning chakra and throws them like shuriken at her enemy. Due to being regular playing cards they don’t carry as much chakra but they have a slight discharge effect of her chakra with contact with the card, useful with short circuiting electrical devices. They are also used up quickly and are irretrievable as the chakra burns them after the chakra leaves the cards.

Description: Arcana – Star, acts like a shotgun in its range, the closer the opponent is the more damage it can do, the maximum range only being five feet which after time would increase slightly further. The technique is done by manipulating Absynthe’s lightning element chakra into a physical form where she throws the ‘ball’ of chakra which dissipates quickly once leaving her hand.

Description: By filling her cards with her lightning chakra, she can attach them to specific areas on her body and the lightning element chakra is used in a way to boost electrical impulses in her limbs and as such increases her strength and agility. It is a constant limit as only a certain amount of chakra fits into the cards and they drain fairly quickly. (The effects last between 10 and 15 posts with the max time for usage are twice within thirty posts, after such another 30 posts must pass or topic change before use again). Until lots of training is done, there are after effects that put a temporary strain on her muscles. (She is physically weaker for five posts after)

Description: By using the lightning chakra from the Four Pillars when up to 3 have been destroyed or knocked down, the chakra is channeled back to Syn's hands and she acts like another pillar, using the chakra then in a whip like strand to attack her enemy. The move must be used in a short space of time or Syn's hands are damaged or the chakra releases itself.

Description: This technique creates intangible copies of the user. The clones are simply illusions and will dissipate when they come into contact with something. Syn is unable to perform the jutsu without using her Lovers Tarot card, filling it with her chakra to create the clone.
